Lautaro Reyes

He is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Chile, now based in Saskatoon. His practice blends theatre, visual arts, and community engagement, centering stories of migration, identity, and belonging. With over 15 years of experience, Lautaro has worked as a director, performer, and visual artist across Canada and Latin America, often collaborating with immigrant, Indigenous, and 2SLGBTQ+ communities.

His work includes participatory theatre, public installations, and immersive storytelling projects. He is the creator of Autoexilio / Self-Exile, an installation exploring heartbreak, transformation, and the immigrant experience, and Welcome to My Country, a multilingual performance rooted in real migration stories. Lautaro’s projects often emerge through collaboration, and he is committed to creating inclusive spaces where marginalized voices can be heard and celebrated.

He has collaborated with organizations including Persephone Theatre, GTNT, SUM Theatre, and Chokecherry Studios, and is the co-founder of the Interdisciplinary Society of Global Artists (ISGA).
